18 Things I Learned Before 19
18 Things I Learned Before 19
Welcome or welcome back to Amaya's Adventures! So, I do not the majority age range of the blog, however, I do believe that these tips/lessons will come in handy for all ages. This will be a little different than our usual posts, but I will be sharing 18 things I learned before turning 19 years old.
1. It is very normal to outgrow people! Health over length, always.
2. Friendships are meant to add to your happiness. NOT add fear, doubt, and sadness to your life.
3. When you refuse to let go of someone you are not meant to be with, the Universe will allow them to hurt you to the point where you have to let them go.
4. Obsessing over if someone is doing you dirty behind your back will not prevent it from happening. If they do you wrong, that is a choice that they made.
5. Dating someone is not the same thing as being in a relationship.
6. Your parents did the best they could with the knowledge they had at the time.
7. You do not need to go to college, but you need to have a plan.
8. When God sees that you are trying, your needs will always be met.
9. The more you trust your intuition, the stronger that it gets.
10. When your environment is clean, your mind will be clear as well.
11. Look at your parents as people. It will change the way you think about them.
12. If you are not passionate about it, do not waste your time and money on it.
13. Having confidence is not about how you look, it is about how you feel about yourself.
14. Learn to set healthy boundaries and be firm with them. If the people in your life can not respect them, that is a problem.
15. No one is watching you the way you think they are. I hope this takes away some embarrassment and anxiety.
16. Social media is not bad. The people you follow are just full of negativity. I unfollowed gossip pages and people who I could not care less about and have no problems.
17. The only right time to start is now, not Monday, not the first of the month, not next year, but now.
18. Life always gets better. It could be tomorrow, 2 months from now, or next year, but it always gets better.
See you all in the next post - Amaya's Adventures!
