Chakras

 Chakras

Welcome or welcome back to Amaya's Adventures! Today we will be discussing chakras. I will go over what they are, what they symbolize, and how to know if they are not balanced.

This diagram above may help you with understanding where the chakras exist in the body. As well as what they symbolize/ rule over. So, what are chakras? Chakras are energy points in the body. Chakras are commonly practiced and originated in Hinduism. There are actually many more chakras than you see in this diagram, but we will focus on 7 chakras today.

The first chakra is the crown chakra. It is located exactly where you would think when you hear "crown." On top of the head. This chakra is known to deal with intuition and is connected to God (if you do believe in God). When your crown chakra is imbalanced, you may experience loneliness, depression, anxiety, confusion, and/or apathy. When it is balanced, you will feel at peace.

The second chakra is the third eye chakra. It is located between your eyebrows, and around that pituitary gland area. This chakra is known to deal with spiritual energy and self-expression. When your third-eye chakra is imbalanced, you may experience confusion, indecisiveness, nightmares, and poor insight. When it is balanced, you will feel calm and like you can be yourself.

The third chakra is the throat chakra. It is located at the throat and also is linked to the sexual organs ( due to its connection with the sacral chakra). This chakra is known to deal with communication. When your throat chakra is imbalanced, you may struggle to communicate effectively or express yourself. When it is balanced, you will not have much trouble speaking and expressing yourself.

The fourth chakra is the heart chakra. It is located in the chest area. specifically the heart region. This chakra is known to deal with love and healing. When the heart chakra is imbalanced, you may experience trouble loving yourself or receiving love from others. As well as struggle giving love to others. When it is balanced, you easily give and receive love for others and yourself.

The fifth chakra is the solar plexus chakra. It is located at the stomach, above the navel. This chakra is known to deal with willpower, self-worth, and confidence. When the solar plexus chakra is imbalanced, you may experience feelings of low self-worth, feeling powerless to change your life, and low self-esteem. When it is balanced, you will have high self-esteem, feel powerful, and know your worth. Which is very important!

The sixth chakra is the sacral chakra. It is located from the navel to the genitalia. This chakra is known to deal with emotions, sensuality, and creativity. When the sacral chakra is imbalanced, you can experience low libido, emotional instability, and lack of creativity. When it is balanced, you will feel joyful, and creative, and will be fertile (also higher libido).

The seventh chakra is the root chakra. It is located at the base of the spine. Between the anus and scrotum for men; the posterior side of the cervix for women. When the root chakra is imbalanced, you can experience depression, anxiety, and fear. When it is balanced, you will feel grounded, stable, and more positive.
